Chris Hood founded Robin Hood Films in 1997 with the intention of making independent films from his unproduced screenplays. Having started writing ten years before, Chris faced the usual difficulties of getting his scripts into the right hands for consideration. Finally deciding to take the plunge, it took him a while to get his first film, "Impact" off the ground. Although a working cut of the film showed in festivals around the country and won numerous awards, the undertaking had drained Chris financially and took several more years until he was able to truly finish the film.
Recently, Chris has found success in the internet along side his business partner, Jon Schultz. The pair has amassed an impressive internet portfolio of 2000 domain names which has grown exponentially over the last few years and allows them to continue to fund more film projects.
"The Casino Job" has just been completed as their new film "Falling Angels" enters pre-production.
A number of other projects are on the slate as well including "Practical Pawns," (a Las Vegas mob film), "Untitled Costa Rica Script," (a horror film to be shot on location!), "Las Vegas Vampire," ('nuff said), and "Cyberpunk," (a big budget action script).
