Created by filmmaker Christopher Robin Hood, the company was formed as a vehicle for bringing his original scripts to the screen. 

Our first film, "Impact," was a critical success at film festivals around the country, but the "art film" feel and the lack of any internationally recognizable stars made the film a tough sell internationally. 

For the follow up, Chris put on his business cap and created "The Casino Job," a fun and sexy romp through Las Vegas with five strippers bent on knocking over a casino.  As expected, despite its limited budget, right out of the gate there was plenty of interest among distributors, both foreign and domestic, and Maverick Entertainment came out on top and was sold the rights to handle worldwide distribution.  The film has already achieved great success with a very strong domestic DVD release, On Demand availability and a number of foreign sales.  The response has been even better than expected and its still going strong.

We're currently preparing for our next film, "Team Tropic", about a group of sexy Interpol agents who go undercover as prostitutes in Costa Rica to break up a human trafficking ring.  We're also hoping to tackle another pair of projects in the near future: "Practical Pawns," a modern-day mob story about Las Vegas , and "Ill Deeds" a knock-out thriller that keeps you guessing twist after twist. Chris also has another business model we're discussing something very new and exciting...but if anyone talks about it, they risk a slow and painful death!

We're on a roll with no plans of letting up any time soon.
